Dress Code

Country Club Casual is appropriate for all dining rooms. Golf attire is allowed at all times. 

Gentlemen must wear tucked-in, collared shirts; jackets are not required. 

Blue denim is not permitted; white, red, black, or other tasteful colors of denim are permitted in all dining rooms except the Trophy Room. Denim must be tasteful and adequately fitted; frayed, acid-washed, stonewashed, distressed, mottled, and “grunge” denim is not considered tasteful. Demin is never permitted on the golf course. 

Children should conform to the club's Dress Code.

*Caps/hats may not be worn by any male of any age in any clubhouse area, including the Men's Locker Room. No tee shirts of any kind are permitted at the club.

Beginning September 1st until March 31st, blue denim is permitted in the Locker Rooms, Terrace, Bar, and Dining Room and never in the Trophy Room. Swimming attire must be suitable for a family environment.

Proper swimming attire, including bathing suits, board shorts, and rash guards, is always required. Cotton clothing, cutoff jeans, thongs, Brazilian/G-string bathing suits, or similar are considered inappropriate and prohibited. Cover-ups or shirts and shoes are required when entering or exiting the pool and walking through the parking lot. Swimming attire, including cover-ups, may not be worn anywhere in the clubhouse or golf course. 

The use of cellular phones for telephone calls in the Clubhouse, Terrace, Locker Rooms, and on the Golf Course is prohibited.  

Members and guests may discreetly answer their cell phones and speak in one of the phone rooms.  Cell phones may be discreetly used at the swimming pool with the understanding that conversations are out of earshot of other Members and guests. Discreet use of a mobile device for nonverbal communications (texting, emailing, surfing the web, taking or showing pictures, and the like) is permitted in all areas of the Club. 

On The Golf Course

Proper golf attire is required at all times at Moraine on the Golf Course and in the Practice Facility. 

Permitted: Shirts with sleeves and collars or mock turtle necks; shirts must remain tucked in at all times; slacks, mid-length shorts, and Bermuda walking shorts (2-4" above the knee) are considered appropriate attire. 

Not Permitted: Tank tops, tee shirts, shirts with rips, holes, or cut-offs, swimsuits, tennis shorts, spandex shorts, denim, jeans, sweatpants, biking shorts or shirts, and other athletic/warm-up attire are considered inappropriate.

Permitted: Golf dresses, skirts, skorts, culottes, slacks, mid-length shorts, dresses, and blouses are considered appropriate attire. 

Not Permitted: Halter tops, tee shirts, shirts with rips, holes, or cut-offs, tube tops, swimsuits, tennis shorts and dresses, denim shirts, slacks or shorts, jeans, sweatpants, spandex/biking shorts or tops, and other athletic/warm-up attire are considered inappropriate.

Only non-metal spikes and soft-soft shoes are permitted on Moraine's Golf Course and Practice Facility.

Golf cap bills must be worn forward. Gentlemen should remove hats in all indoor areas and on the terrace.
